Slim16 slaves are connected with appropriate XLR4 cables.
These cables all have a male connector on one side end and a female connector on the other. This allows the user to connect the cables to each other just as if they were normal extension cords. This feature is very important because it helps cover greater distances in case the cables are not long enough.
Moreover, it helps whoever is doing the connections, because it minimizes mistakes when wiring. In fact, every Pyromac Slave comes with male and female XLR4 connectors in order to distinguish input and output signals.
Concerning how the cables provided by Pyromac are physically made, we can immediately notice their high-quality standard.
In fact, all Pyromac products only have connectors by the brand Neutrik, worldwide leader in the connector industry, especially for XLR cables.
In addition to selecting the best possible supplier, Pyromac chooses to use only top of the line cables that are made with GOLD contacts. This noble metal is the best for electric connections and it’s also the most rust-resistant in time.
The same goes for the type of cable used. They are supplied by an Italian company specialized in the production of special cables. Specifically, we use a cable of the Ultraflex series with double outer isolation (in addition to the individual isolation of the inner wires). This double isolation guarantees great fire- and high-temperature resistance, which are essential in this industry. Of course, it is a self extinguishing cable that respects all regulations.
Having Ultraflex cables is a great advantage when dismounting the display. All customers that have already used these cables can confirm that there is no comparison with a traditional PVC cable. Its flexibility allows to easily wind cable reels even in very low temperatures.
All cables are directly produced by Pyromac, therefore giving the client possibility to decide the necessary length. Standard dimensions of cables in stock are 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 meters.
