The Pyromac7 is a very versatile electronic firing system: thanks to its multiple functions it can adapt to create the most diverse displays that the operator can think of.

This system can be used in two ways:
1. SLAVE MODE: controlled by the Master
2. SELF MODE: used autonomously to create pyrotechnical sequences with trigger commands.
In SLAVE MODE one or more Pyromac7 are connected to each other and to the Compact Master. The Master system is able to monitor all modules connected, to verify the condition of firing cues at any given moment, to manually order to fire when wanted or to execute pyro-musical shows. The connection can be done by XLR4 cable or by Radio Modem. All technical features to use the Pyromac system are listed at the end of the page.
The automatic features of the sequencer used independently, are as follows:
-constant speed: the device works by classic sequencer, you are prompted to insert the firing time between a shot and the other (by one-hundredth of a second to sixty minutes), and the confirmation sequence is performed at constant speed on all 32 channels. This sequence can be simulated before (through the ignition test led) to see that the time posted corresponds with what you want.
-Self-Accelerated: is a pre-set program in the unit that allows you to have an ignition of the channels with a certain acceleration. The controller asks how must last the whole effect (from 7 seconds to 60 minutes) and calculate the acceleration curve necessary to reproduce it. It can be simulated, and at the “Start” command will be executed automatically.
-Self-Decelerated: is a preset program the control unit that allows you to have an ignition of the channels with a certain deceleration curve. The controller asks that must last the whole effect (from 7 seconds to 60 minutes) and calculates the deceleration curve necessary to reproduce it. It can be simulated, and the “Start” command will be executed automatically.
-Self-Programmable: this function allows you to create a custom sequence anyone, indicating each time between a shot and the other. Everything requires no computer: is done completely through the large LCD display and the 3 buttons on the panel. The programming menu is entirely in English or Italian. After entering all the time, the program is saved in the sequencer and can only be invoked when desired. The sequence of your choice can be simulated at any time to see that the times included correspond to your expectations.
The show thus generated can be also accompanied by a musical basis, respecting the specific times.
Other useful functions performed by the control unit are:
Battery: displays the battery voltage at any time
FW version: displays the version of the firmware
Planned audit: displays the date recommended by the manufacturer to carry out a review on the entire system, including the replacement of the batteries, the eventual software upgrade with new versions and check the good condition of all internal components.
Menu language: selects the language displayed on the display (Italian or English).
Radio Modem: enables or disabilities integrated radio modem (optional).
The “start impulse” is an electrical impulse applied to terminals “Trigger” with a voltage range between 8 and 100 volts DC. This pulse can be generated with a standard 12V battery, with the Starter Pyromac, or using any other firing system with suitable characteristics.
The Fireworks can go to several hundred meters from the control unit with start button: the Trigger function, prevents any voltage drops even over long stretches of cable.
In case you want to use the sequencer in radio mode, you will need to purchase a remote-controlled Pyromac or 12 or 24 channels system, or, if the sequencer is operated by Pyromac Master controller, the compatible radio Modems.
Description connectors and LEDs:
Power switch: selects the mode of the controller;
PRG: allows you to test the Ignitors and sequencer security programming;
FIRE: enables receiving start command.
Bus In and Bus Out: these are the terminals with which the sequencer communicates with the Master unit and the other sequencer.
PRG Led: will illuminate to indicate the inclusion of programming mode
Fire Led: will illuminate to indicate the inclusion of FIRE mode
Led Signal. : flashes when the control unit Slave mode is receiving remote commands
Led Armed. : flashes when the control unit is armed.
Charge: is the plug where input connect the supplied charger.
XLR4 connectors: on the back of the controller which allows the connection of a Micro16 or other Pyromac devices.
The powerful internal battery allows the controller to perform many shows without being recharged. The autonomy of the controller in “armed and ready for firing” may be of several days. There are therefore problems to turn on the unit and arm several hours before the show (e.g. aquatic shows). This controller has not “sleep” mode or “stand by” because the technical specifications with which it is made, allow the unit to stay on with a low power consumption also remains always on. However, it is possible to monitor the battery voltage at any time using the appropriate function “battery” in the menu “info”. Is supplied with the control unit also its automatic charger from mains.
The terminal type used (QuickClips), is produced almost exclusively for using in firing system. Its structure made of stainless steel and plastic, allows the insertion and the perfect tightening of one or more wires. Simply press with two fingers the plastic outside and then scroll down, insert the wire or wires already stripped within the space that is created between the plastic and the central steel, and release and then the outside. A powerful spring will tighten the conductor ensuring a perfect electrical contact. There is no hole in which to insert the wire in the central cylinder: the conductor is simply resting upright between the plastic and the central metal at any point! Clamps Quick Clips, unlike terminals used by some competitors, not harm in any way the wire inserted, since the clamping surface is broad and does not try then slice the small wire inserted.
The entire unit is fitted inside a briefcase force HPRC2400 (http://www.plaber.com/2400.htm) whose mechanical performance, ensure the machine a perfect protection against weathering and eventual shocks. The sponges “without memory” on both sides of the controller, would let out cables and close the cover with the hooks. This ensures complete safety the appliance even if left in bad weather for a long time (and running!).
